Nobilis Carrere Montebello Rum No. 22C 2007
Highly praised agricole with elegant cognac-cask influence, nicely balanced fruit, spice and oak. Complex yet accessible, with more intensity than the 43.4% suggests, though some would prefer a higher proof.
Rum fans who enjoy agricole character without too much grassiness and like fruit-forward, cognac-influenced sippers with balanced spice and oak at a comfortable ABV.

How does this rum taste?
Balanced cognac‑kissed agricole
If you enjoy balanced, cask-driven agricoles like other mature Montebellos, this is a great pick—same DNA, but softer and more cognac-fruity, ideal when you don’t want full power.
High-proof hunters or those wanting very grassy, raw agricole intensity or a very long, powerful finish.

Wonderful nose and palate. Here the aging has really worked for the good.
A lovely release. Fresh and lightly fruity with nicely integrated ABV. I would have loved a bit more power, read higher ABV preferably above 55% because that's where the Montebello's usually really kick in.
Also schon reduziert ins Fass…?) 22C.
