#5052 This rum lost my review or parts of it, luckily I have my notes 😊 Nose Light, fresh, light wood, fruits, light caramel, sugarcane, faint smoke. Palate Light, oily, lightly sweet, pineapple, light caramel, light apple, cinnamon, wood, light roasted. Finish Medium long, wood, oily, lightly sweet, light caramel, sugarcane. The empty glass had spice, light melon, cinnamon and some basil.
Does not meet my expectations 😌
Ce Très vieux rhum agricole Saint James 12 ans représente bien ce qu'on attend de ce genre de rhum. D'entrée de jeu, un nez vif, boisé et floral nous accueille. Ensuite jusqu'à la finale, c'est le boisé légèrement piquant qui nous accompagne.
Loaded with wood. Rather sweet. Then a certain bitterness. Astringent. Minty, peppery finish.
