Not much on the nose. Peppery with hints of lemon and young wood in the background. Some smokiness and hay is present after it airs out. On the palate there's not much either. The pepper is there, as well as leather and tobacco. It's very astringent, not too pleasant. The finish is short and mirrors the palate. Mainly pepper, joined by the smoke from the nose. Not one for me. A shame, as its the first rum distilled in the UK that I'm rating.
