heavy, complex, dirty. An amazing rum. Might outscore the Caronis in blind tasting in my view. Regrettably only a few bottles
Sensational navy rum. Dark, intense, toasty. A real rum concentrate!
Extremely oily texture, heavy and opulent sweetness that makes me think of maple syrup in addition to molasses. This is gradually joined by fruity aromas, the wood also announces itself with smoky-bitter notes reminiscent of coffee. A sip of history in two senses - not only the age of the rum speaks for itself, also the profile is no longer found in this form today. Makes fun!
Perfect one! Great old navy.
