"100% my type in scent. Little bit harsh for me in taste. But very nice in general."
"On the nose, the Mhoba French Cask is relatively similar to the Mhoba 101 Strand for me, the same garlic / truffle oil aroma. The alcohol comes through here with the Mhoba French Cask but a little stronger. On the palate, the alcohol pushes for my taste then already quite and could be better integrated. With some time in the air and some water, however, this becomes more bearable and the French Cask opens up more. Taste-wise, I find the Franchise Cask in direct comparison a tad more refined than the Mhoba 101 Strand. Both, however, have quite similar. The finish is medium long."
"When I smelled it, my first thought was that it was some agricole from Martinique...something like Depaz...I smell wood and fruit...like raisins and also something like jam or plum jam... I smell wood and raisins on the palate..and also a bit of alcohol, 60% is admittedly a short warm finish...I have tasted several Mhobas and none have been disappointing.."
