Nice foursquare in the sweet caramel side, solid even if not outstanding
This rum presents the classic Foursquare nose, with woody, vanilla, and dried fruit notes coming through beautifully. The palate is pleasant with a smooth sweetness, brown sugar, and subtle spice. However, there’s a noticeable sense that the rum has been somewhat restrained by its lower ABV, especially in the finish. Despite this, it remains an enjoyable rum, perfect for casual sipping with friends. Toward the end, there’s a slight bitterness along with roasted coffee beans that adds an extra layer of character, even if it doesn’t reach the complexity of higher-proof Foursquare offerings.
Na mne trošku moc naředěný, ale jinak poctivý Barbados.
Solid FS nothing more nothing less. Real tasty rum. Not exceptional.
