This Casimir Ansyen has been bottled for Bacchus Spirits in Geneva. It has been aged for 21 months in an ex-Caroni cask. The nose is not obvious. I have lemongrass just like in the unaged casimir, but this time other herbs are in the mix, there is a more pastry side to it, I even have molasses. The mouth is also a bit closed, it's sweet and herbal. I definitely have molasses just as if someone had put some Barbados rum in there. The balance of sweet molasses and the classic herbal notes make it a nice siper. The final is rather short and sweet. It's a nice Clairin. Just like the others, it's quite affordable for the quality you get. It's not very complex but it's not classic and it's still good, which makes it interesting.
