How does this rum taste?
- Rich tropical aroma
- Complex flavor profile
- Chocolate undertones
Flora Antillarum, produced at the Karukera distillery in Guadeloupe, is a limited edition rum distilled from sugarcane juice and aged for 12 years. Bottled by Velier at cask strength with a 60.4% ABV, it offers a complex profile with prominent notes of mango, sugarcane, and lime. On the palate, flavors of sugarcane, cinnamon, herbal nuances, and vanilla are evident. Users appreciate its rich tropical aroma, well-balanced spiciness, and chocolate undertones. However, some note the alcohol is not fully integrated, causing an acidic and slightly bitter aftertaste. Despite this, its aromatic depth and agricole character are appealing to many enthusiasts.

"The best in the series to my taste!Intense complex one part vegetal, one part citrus mixed with tropical fruits and a bit more bitter provided by the cask!Karukera with its casks always confirms itself as one of the best!"

"I like it very much! A fresh fruity nose with light sugar cane!On the palate initially a heavy sugar cane sweetness before it spreads creamy in the mouth! Now the spicy parts come through! The longer it lingers in the mouth the stronger flavors come through paired with some tangerine zest! Very tasty! The finish is medium long with the typical grassy notes!A good to drink Agricole"
