The Montebello Flora Antillarum is a limited release rum distilled in 2002 from sugar cane juice and aged for 19 years. It has an ABV of 41.3% and is bottled at cask strength. Reviews generally found it to have a nice balance and intensity, with wood and spice notes mixed with light fruit. The nose was described as very fruity, almost sherry-like, while the palate was intense and complex with alternating fruit and herbal notes. The finish was typically agricole. Most reviewers found it to be too sweet or thin but still an interesting and enjoyable drink overall.
