The Nectar Hampden The Nectar Of The Daily Drams DOK 2021
Highly praised as a wild, fruity, glue-heavy DOK that rewards experienced palates, even if it’s slightly tamer and less polished than some other legendary white DOK bottlings.
Seasoned ester freaks and Jamaican funk fans wanting a full-strength, unaged Hampden DOK that’s great for powerful Daiquiris and as a challenging sipper.

By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 270,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

I'm starting to appreciate this more with every sip. There is so much going on. A delicious contrast between fruity, savoury and spicy.
Exciting and extremely fruity nose. Lots of red fruits, a little bit of yellow banana, squashed grapes and pineapple juice turned sour. Structures from raw honey, citrusy juniper and olive brine. The DOK is obviously brutally medicinal: hot glue, solvents and phenolic smoke and ash. Red fruit bubblegum on the palate. More raw honey, now accompanied by sugarcane and green, dry earth notes. It’s lightly woody and ashy. More glue, more solvents, more phenol. Chamomile tea at the end into fresh flowers. The finish is smoky and ashy with red fruits and aniseed. Like most whites in this category, this is very interesting and has applications both as a mixer and a sipper.
Passable unstored DOK, but in comparison with the RDL White DOK (RX10371) a wallflower 😉.
