“Colour of the SBS is significantly lighter vs. The Nectar. On the nose both clearly deliver (unaged) PM notes. However the cask influence on The Nectar is much more noticeable as the colour suggested. Clear point for The Nectar. On the palate, this SBS is significantly sweeter and more „virgin oak forward“ so to say. Alcohol is better integrated vs. The Nectar. While there are also (oaky) sweet notes and vanilla, The Nectar delivers a much darker profile which is more noticeable PM. Overall a hint to sharp for my liking.”

“Not too bad a release. ABV could have been integrated a lot better but the balance is still kind of there after resting for a good while. Nice sweet caramel in the profile and I like the roasted wood on the profile. The empty glass has a really nice touch to it after a while.”
