CDI Boulet de Canon 12
Most enjoy its intense peat, cold smoke and whisky vibe, especially single malt drinkers. Critics find the ashtray/medicinal notes overpowering and miss rum character. Consensus: solid, well-made curiosity.
Smoky single malt fans (Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Caol Ila etc.) who want a peat-heavy rum with cigar, ash, herbal and hazelnut notes at manageable 46% ABV.

How does this rum taste?
Peated whisky lovers’ rum crossover
If you enjoy peated single malts and want that same cold smoke and ash in a rum context, this is a smart try; if peat turns you off, skip it.
Drinkers expecting sweet, fruity rum or who dislike heavy smoke/ashtray notes; rum purists wanting clear cane character over whisky influence.

Very intense. Pure ashtray. Not for me.
