Foursquare Private Cask Selection Elysium
Elysium splits opinion: some praise its sherry dryness and layered coconut-vanilla profile, others mention sharp alcohol and a dry finish. One to try if you like a drier Foursquare rum with wood and dried fruit.
Classic coconut, sherry-dry, layered and rewarding with patience.

How does this rum taste?
- Very rich. Nice!
- FS-typischen Noten von Kokosnuss (geröstet), Karamell, getr. Früchten und Holz.
- Unmistakably Bajan.
Foursquare's Private Cask Selection Elysium leans into the classics: coconut, vanilla, roasted wood, and dried fruits dominate both nose and palate, with a clear sherry influence edging things a little drier than some other releases. "Nose is classic FS with a bit additional red fruits" (DomM), while Steffmaus🇩🇰 found it "very well integrated ABV% and I found some spice and dried fruits." Several RumX members mention a touch of bite from the alcohol and a dryness in the finish. This one opens up with air and steadily reveals its layered charm, especially for those who like their Bajan rums neat or over ice.

"I wonder how they got their hands on this sample, but not important because it's a great rum. Fruity with roasted wood and spice and a light topping of chocolate. Price to quality at release was really good."
"Delicious quaffable sherry foursquare"
"The longer it is open and the more samples I give it, the better it tastes to me, which is why I have adjusted it upwards. For its shorter storage time than some other ECS, it still delivers a solid performance. Price to appearance relatively fair, if it wasn't for the duty and tax."
"Solid Foursquare with a pleasant sherry dryness on the palate. But not a smash hit. Tasted at Zabo's Garden Paradise"
