Is often called the King of Hampden - and especially in direct comparison with other representatives of the already extremely exciting 1993 vintage, the outstanding quality becomes more than clear. The balance can only be described as famos - here nothing negative stands out: overripe fruits meet vanilla, caramel sweetness, dark spices and light roasted aromas. Superb!

Palate Warm, spicy, light wood, light roasted, citrus, faint glue, fruitcake, medium dry. Finish Long, warm, fruity, wood, faint smoke, ester.
Outstanding Hampden with no faults. Powerful, funky, fruity, woody notes in perfect harmony. Endless finish that stays with you forever.
