How does this rum taste?
RumX members love this Travellers cask strength for its lush chocolate, coconut and vanilla profile and how controlled the 64.6% feels. Expect roasted, woody tones with hints of coffee/mocha and subtle fruit; some note a saline touch. Enjoyed neat, often with a few drops of water. Highly rated by around 20 reviewers, it’s praised as rounded, balanced and very drinkable—from a limited 246-bottle release.

Very tasty and well-rounded Belize! A real treat for the palate!
Sehr schöner Travellers in Fasstärke. Gefällt mir richtig gut.
The L'Esprit bottlings are almost always among the best representatives of the Travellers releases. Here the profile comes into its own in perfection - very round, sweet, balanced with vanilla, caramel, coffee, coconut, wood, subtle fruit notes, some spiciness, roasted peanuts... convincing and very drinkable.
I did enjoy the nose on this one and the overall flavours. Quite high abv so a few drops of water went down well. Lots of fruity and wood flavours that stand out. Nice drop…
