How does this rum taste?
Sweet caramel and vanilla notes lead the way in Mezan Guyana (Uitvlugt, 2011), closely joined by gentle oak and dried fruit both on the nose and palate. RumX tasters often highlight its smoothness and dessert-like profile, though some wish for a bit more complexity or punch. Worth a sip for fans of easy, sweet Guyanese rums.

Some fruits and bit of somke on the nose. However, dominated by vanilla and sweetness. I think a bit higher ABV might have improved the nose a bit. An the palate this one feels watered down. Profile is dominated by sweetness with not too much else going on unfortunately. Its not bad and might work as a smooth introduction to Guyana column rum.
Savalle Guyana with the typical flavors. ABV could still be a little higher and possibly also a little better integrated. But otherwise tasty and certainly also a good rum for beginners.
The usual problem as almost always with Mezan. Too thin and then not even well diluted. No particularly beautiful or exciting profile, in addition, despite the dilution still somewhat alcoholic. Too bad.
Very greedy and pleasant nose. Soft mouthfeel of caramel and sugar. Short finish.
