What a beguiling nose... very multi-faceted, intense and fruity.... Excellent!On the palate, the rum spreads creamy oily to all corners of the mouth and fills it with an interplay of woody, herbal, toasty, dried fruit and coffee! This fits and harmonizes !If the finish was a little longer... it would have been easily enough for an "excellent"! But it remains an exception!
An exciting rum, which I would not estimate so old. Great fresh and fruity nose and nice complex herbs and spices on the palate. Alcohol is super integrated. Definitely tasty and a rum that will still challenge me, since I have not yet deciphered much.
