Ron Botran Rare Blend Vintage French Wine Cask
Most enjoy the sweet caramel, marzipan and wine-cask twist. Critics find it thin, slightly sharp for 40% and somewhat artificial, with weak finish. Overall seen as an easy but unremarkable sipper.
Those who enjoy sweet, soft Spanish-style rums and want a simple dessert sipper with a noticeable French wine-cask influence, without high ABV or funky, challenging flavors.

Promising nose, nice wood spice, quite mild and complex; also delicious on the tongue, sweet, vanilla, mild, spicy, nice finish, PLV too high
Auto-translatedAn uncomplicated rum that is suitable as a dessert. A little too expensive for the target group it is aimed at. The maturation in wine barrels comes through well, but the 40% vol. weakens the taste a little, which is the case with 90% of all rums with this alcohol strength. The notes of caramel and marzipan are nevertheless very pleasant and persist from the nose to the finish. A good rum to enjoy on the side.
Auto-translatedWeak rum with no distinct taste. In the wine there is a pleasant feeling of wine but that's all...
