A wonderful rum truly true to its origin on Barbados. Fruity and herbal with some caramel and chocolate. A very well balance and complex rum. Should have bought a few extra bottles.
Ein starker und intensiver Rum, sehr würzig mit blumigen Noten. Nase: Tee, Biskuit, Karamell, getrocknete Ananas, dezent Harz Geschmack: Komplex und vielseitig. Pfirsich, Karamell, Bienenwachs und alles leicht geräuchert. Leicht medizinal. Langer und süßer Abgang: Kandiszucker. getrockneten Pfirsich und vanille Bohnen. Dezent holz und Apfel
Kräuter-, Whisky- und Vanillenoten dominieren die Nase, begleitet von Kokos und Rösttönen. Am Gaumen zeigen sich würziges Holz, Karamell, getoastete Aromen und eine feine Bitterkeit. Der Abgang ist warm mit Vanille, etwas Honigsüße und nussigen Nuancen. Sehr sauber destilliert, ausgewogen und mit subtiler Komplexität.
würde ich blind nie als Barbados Rum erkennen, auch wenn der rockley still etwas anders ist aber hier ist es mir eindeutig zu medizinisch, rauchig, whisky lastig, mit einer seltsamen bitterkeit und Säure... insgesamt auch etwas zu alkoholisch und einfach nicht meins. Starke ähnlichkeit allerdings zum RA Rockley 2021!
