How does this rum taste?
The Guyana Diamond VSG is a distinctive rum, crafted at Demerara Distillers Ltd and aged for 10 years. Distilled using a Single Wooden Pot Still and marked by an ABV of 62.3%, it showcases a complex profile with woody, spicy, and fruity aromas. Its palate delivers notes of wood, vanilla, and chocolate, with a strong peppery finish. Reviewers highlight its intriguing blend of flavors, from apricot to licorice. This limited release of 186 bottles receives praise for its intricate balance, though some suggest the alcohol integration could be improved.

Very nice and komplex young Versailles. Classic VSG notes with plenty add-ons I did not expect. This will need some more sessions to fully explore. Pleasantly surprised 👍
A rum from Guyana that starts with a nice nose full of fruits (pineapple, apple, peach and lemon), spices, wood and caramel that blend harmoniously. The palate is more brutal, turned to spices (chili pepper in particular), vanilla wood and a touch of bitterness that contrasts with the exuberance of the fruits on the nose. We also detect notes of licorice. The rum is dry but quite creamy in the mouth. The finish is medium long with the same bitter, licorice, wood, spice, caramel and vanilla notes. A contrasting rum but diverse in flavors.
Strong demerara With an impressively balanced nose, the spice then dominates the palate, but if you give it time, fruit also comes through here, I detected some peach. Unfortunately, the finish drops off a little
Surprisingly nice. Tasted one time from a sample. Alcohol not perfectly integrated but in a way that i did not mind
