"Just retasted this one from my shelf. I use it for desserts and it's really good for that. "
"A round, soft and bold taste with lots of fruit and sweetness, which ends in a long aftertaste."
"Woodier and toastier than the Centenario 20y and 25y, but less fruity. In the mouth super mild and pleasing, because super sweet. The actually delicious flavor profile (fruit, caramel, toasty chocolate, vanilla and some wood) and any edges are covered by the sweetness and totally rounded. Price: way too expensive. There are hundreds of better rums in this segment! The 25y pleases better."
"A rum with a nose of almost burnt caramel, vanilla and old leather and light coffee. A soft mouthfeel, then the flavors appear, leather again, milk chocolate and a salty side with an interesting bitterness that holds it all together. The finish is rather short, on bitterness and caramel. I'm a little disappointed, but it's undeniably well done. Yet the whole lacks complexity. The empty glass, perhaps due to the absence of sugar, adds a little depth."
