South Pacific Plantation One-Time Limited Edition
A crowd-pleaser leaning on sweet, fruit-forward notes and approachable vanilla, but some find it edged toward average with too much wood and a thinner body than hoped. One to try if you like coconut, fruit, and soft oak.
Fruity, sweet Fiji rum with easy sipping appeal.

How does this rum taste?
- Nose fruity and fresh
- No alcoholic burn, pleasant sipper
- Lovely stuff. Some soft funk
Fiji DNA is clear with loads of tropical fruit, caramel, and vanilla, wrapped in a light veil of esters. The nose often gets praise—"The nose is fruity and fresh" (@Rick Meyer), with some noting a floral touch and even "burnt coconut" in the finish. Many pick up a balance of fruit and wood, though several point out that the cognac cask influence can be "too present" (@Rare Akuma) and the mouthfeel a bit "thin." Sweetness and easy sipping dominate, but the relatively short finish divides opinion, as does the alcohol integration.

To South Pacific
"I didn't really have high expectations, but I found the nose to be quite good: light esters, sweetish fruit with a slight floral note. On the palate, however, it is too thin... and the aromas are only faintly perceptible. First the sweetness dominates, then the cask. The finish is relatively short."
"Another one time limited edition. Fruity and sweet with caramel and spice. I would have loved a higher ABV though."
"Good value for money. Good Fiji!"
"Mixed Fiji. I liked the One Time 2005 much better."
