“This is a very nice and also a rare release. Very few bottles released and the price is amazing compared to what you get. A very intense rum with light fruit and floral notes as well as nice spices. There is a light caramel flavour on the palate and it goes well with the minty note. The high ABV has definitely benefitted the overall profile. Needs to rest for a while for the ABV to settle and all the flavours to be released. Noted that the empty glass is really nice after a while.”

“This rum from the ReimonenQ distillery in Guadeloupe is selected by Guillaume de Roany and Rhums du Sud. It’s a single cask aged for 6 months in cognac casks and limited to 248 bottles. Directly in the nose it’s unmistakable an ReimonenQ. In mouth and at the palate it’s then an explosion of tastes which reminds me of the first ReimonenQ I tasted long ago. I find it quite hard to identify what it tastes, but it’s really a great rum. The finish is short to medium which is the only reason that I stop at 8+. ReimonenQ normally releases their rum at 40%. So after tasting this one I really hope they will release rum at higher ABV. Overall a fantastic Agricole with a little too short finish.”
