#5191 20.03.2025 Running through a few samples at home. Nose Intense, fresh, light olive, light cherry, light sweet, overripe, spice, light anise. Palete Fresh, round, medium intense, naturally sweet, light anise, light olive, light citrus, light cherry, faint floral. Finish Light oily, faint smoke, naturally sweet, olive, faint salt, faint citrus, light floral. Empty glass Olive, faint smoke, licorice, spice.
This grand arome is a bit too hostile to the nose and the palate to be a good sipping rum. Smoke and glue are really intense and hide the fruitiness of the grand arome. Anyway this still represents Savanna DNA
Great Savanna aroma, but below distillery bottling. Quite brutal in pure tasting, with glue and burnt sugar dominating, and an impression of fruit in the background, but without being able to identify it. A killer in cocktails and even in a ti punch, which raises the note in addition to a very good Q/P ratio.
Joli nez grand arôme, mais la bouche est en dessous, malgré une belle longueur.
