It was distilled in 2015 from Sugar cane juice with a Pot Still and then aged for 5 years. The rum has an ABV of 48,6%. No added sugar. 9 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.1/10. Buying one of these bottles the proceeds went to charity for the hard hit people of Haiti! The rum is really nice and the whiskey finish gives it a nice elegance!
Really a stunner, this aged Vaval. The fierce unaged clairin is tamed by the whisky barrel, receiving a nice full layer of complexity with tropical fruits, especially ananas that goes well along with the aniseed and the sugarcane notes
