"Overall an Agricole Blanc that is great neat, but even better in a traditional Punch. This white vintage edition of the Montebello Blanc 50 is labeled with a magnificent Galion just as their rum was back in the days just a few years after that the Carrere Distillery was built in 1930. The nose is very fresh and lively with vegetal aromas together with citrus, spices and a little bitterness. At the palate it’s very round, smooth and savory almost silky with flavors of cane, citrus and peppers. During the medium to long finish it goes on in the same way and leaves me with a very fresh feeling."
