How does this rum taste?
Fans like the balanced, roasted Foursquare profile; critics find the alcohol sharp and bitterness dominant. Consensus: a decent, darker-leaning cask strength Foursquare that needs time in the glass.
If you already like drier, toasty Foursquare releases and want a punchier single cask, this fits—just be ready for firm alcohol and a darker, slightly bitter edge.
Newcomers, those sensitive to alcohol burn, or drinkers expecting a soft, sweet Foursquare or a particularly fruity, easygoing Barbados rum.

Very balanced raud distillate. Complex and very tasty. Wat can I say Another good work from “foursquare”
Quite alright. The alcohol could be better integrated. I had hoped for more
Here ones again the bitterness ruins this rum on the home stretch! A shame!!! and it starts so well, nice brown sugar in the nose. It is cask picks like that where it really starts a little bit like hit or miss, if it werent FS...
18.06.2022 Running through some samples at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, pineapple, light coconut, faint chocolate, spice. Palate Wood, light roasted, fruity, pineapple, light coconut, light chocolate, spice, faint vegetal. Finish Medium long, light wood, dried fruit, light citrus, faint chocolate, light orange. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while or the ABV will overshadow the more subtle flavours. ABV integration could have been better.
