“This is a wonderful rum and the price to quality is very good. I'd say this one is better that its predecessor. More elegant in a way. The nose is intense and fruity with leather, chocolate, wood trailed by light vanilla and nuts. The notes become much clearer once rested for more than 15 minutes. The palate is intense and well balanced with fruit, leather, chocolate as well as light wood and vanilla. The finish is medium to long with dried fruit, coffee and light wood and tobacco. I will have to order a bottle of this rum :-)”

“Un J.M des grands jours que ce Millésime 2004. Le nez se veut très gourmand et fruité, porté par le citron, la mangue et la marmelade avant de basculer sur des notes gourmandes de caramel, de crème, de chocolat et de sucre brun. Le boisé, les épices et les noix sont subtiles et complètent bien le profil olfactif. En bouche, le côté dilué n’est pas si gênant. L’attaque est douce, mais plus épicée et boisée que le nez. Les notes de café, de cuir et de tabac donnent du caractère à ce rhum, qui perd légèrement en gourmandise et en fruité ici. La finale évoque la fraîcheur agricole, un profil floral et épicé avec une trame sèche et assez complexe. Un rhum qui évolue tant au nez qu’en bouche avec le temps et qui propose une palette aromatique très diversifiée. Un Millésime réussi pour J.M.”

“Attention ….. très très bon rhum ! Un nez intense dans les fruits sec et sur le cuir. En bouche que c est bon, les fruits sec fondu sur du bois légèrement épicé… wouah ! Je valide à 100%, si j ai un truc à redire….. c est que j aurais aimer un % d alcool peut être un peu plus fort pour faire encore plus ressortir tout les arômes !”
