- Complex ester profile
- Rich tropical fruit aroma
- Well-balanced and smooth
The Berry’s Own Selection Finest Jamaican Rum C<>H, crafted at Hampden Distillery and independently bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd, is a 17-year-aged rum distilled in 1990. With a 46% ABV, it is celebrated for its complex nose of esters and tropical fruits like pineapple and mango. The palate is noted for its ester, fruity, and citrusy qualities, with hints of wood and light medicinal notes. While praised for its balanced integration of flavors, some users found it too diluted, leaving a more restrained taste profile compared to other high-ester Jamaican rums. Overall, it offers a unique tasting journey, particularly admired by enthusiasts of older, high-ester rums.

"Nachverkostung RumX Adventskalender, nummer 15 So macht Nachverkosten Spaß. Sehr lecker.

"05.03.2016 Finally back in Kolding again after some years at Messe C in Fredericia. Much easier to get home when it's within walking distance. Had my good friend from Singapore visit for a month and that ended up in a lot of tasting 😊 This was a bottle i brought and it ended up empty before the day was over. Notes. Nose: overripe fruits, banana, light wood, ester, glue. Palate: balanced, fresh, intense, citrus, banana, caramel, light medicinal, light roasted wood. Finish: lightly dry, wood, light smoke, ester, fruits."
