Summary
The Rum Artesanal Venezuela Rum was produced in Venezuela at the C.A.D.C distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Heinz Eggert GmbH. It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 17 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 57,8%. This is a limited release and there are only 342 bottles.

aufgrund der vorherigen Rezessionen war ich ja schon auf einiges gefasst, aber der Rum ist echt wirklich SEHR speziell 😉 An der Nase kommt mir Anis-Lebkuchen, Kumquat, Kräuterbonbon. Am Gaumen genauso strange, spontan dachte ich an Wick Medinait 😆Im Abgang Wacholder Schnaps. Muss ich nicht öfter haben…

Ein solches Aroma hätte ich bei einem CADC nicht erwartet. ich finde den Rum unglaublich spannend, aber ich persönlich möchte auch keinen Rum zuhause haben, der ein Mix ist aus fassgelagertem Mojito und Hustensaft. Aber dieser Rum wird sicherlich seine Fans finden

Hustensaft, Jodsalbe, Doppel-Wacholder, Ricola Hustenbonbons und Rotbäckchen Immunstark Saft in flüssig. Kräftig, sauer, bitter und holzig-harzig-mentholig... Irgendwie total irre und interessant irgendwie aber auch schon echt grenzgängig und unglaubwürdig wie das hier Rum aus Venezuela sein soll?! Absolut seltsames Produkt ... Damit hätte ich nun so gar nicht gerechnet. Ob man das nun mag oder nicht muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden. Ich persönlich muss diesen Rum nicht unbedingt nochmal im Glas haben...

Ich bin unentschlossen was ich davon halten soll. Ich betrachte es mal als Erfahrung, was Rum so kann. Meine Frau mag Anis und Lakritz und findet ihn lecker aber der Rumgeschmack stört sie 😉

Oha! Ich bekomme den kaum runter. Mich erinnert er an einen Jägermeister/Kräuterschnaps. Leider ist er für mich nicht trinkbar.

Wiedermal die bei den Artesanal-Abfüllungen zuletzt beinahe omnipräsente Gemüse-Kräuternote sowohl in der Nase als auch am Gaumen. die erste Assoziation liegt deshalb auch irgendwo zwischen Hustensirup und Salmiakbonbon. Mir unklar, woher diese Note rührt - das Ganze nimmt im Profil jedenfalls so viel Raum ein, dass der zugrundeliegende Rum geradezu untergeht. Bei einem eher geradlinigen spanischen Profil wie dem aus Venezuela bleibt aromatisch deshalb nicht mehr viel Erwähnenswertes übrig. Schade.

Extrem ungewöhnliche Mischung aus medizinischen und kräutrigen Eindrücken - mit etwas Standzeit wird er runder; dass dieser Rum geliebt oder gehasst wird, ist verständlich, ich persönlich stehe auf diese Komposition

Na holla die Waldfee! Finish im Hustensaft-Fass? Oder wird im Nebengeschäft Spitzwegerichsaft hergestellt und das Fass wurde vertauscht? Absolut nicht meins. Wer mal Hustensaft mit mehr Umdrehungen trinken will, sei herzlich eingeladen. Sowas abzufüllen ist...interessant. Deshalb 10 Bonus-Punkte.
