The Ten Cane Trinidad Rum Artesanal is a limited release rum distilled in 2008 from Molasses with a Pot Still and aged for 14 years. It has an ABV of 58.2% and is bottled at cask strength. It has complex aromas and flavors, including wood, cherry notes, marzipan, spices, fruits, and sweetness. It is well-balanced and sippable with a good price point but some find the marzipan flavor too intense. Compared to other Ten Cane rums from Trinidad it has more red fruit and vanilla notes on the nose while having an intense cherry lollipop flavor but noticeable alcohol content that fades faster than its nuanced counterpart which lingers longer in terms of its cherry notes.
