The Rum Artesanal Barbados Rum BMMG is a 22-year-old, limited-edition rum crafted at Barbados' Mount Gay distillery and bottled by Heinz Eggert GmbH. Distilled from molasses using a pot still and presented at cask strength with an ABV of 56.5%, it offers rich, woody aromas accented by orange peel and anise. Tasting notes highlight its spicy, woody flavor with hints of dried fruit and caramel. This complex spirit, available in only 304 bottles, resonates with both traditional and distinctive earthy and minty undertones.

"This is a nice rum especially at the price. The age is very present in the profile as the wood takes the front seat along some fruity and spice notes. Nice warm/spicy on the palate and I like the smoky wood it serves your palate and finish."

"The long storage time is reflected in the aroma profile: the rum is good on the wood with a little smoke. Very spicy with strong ethereal notes of mint, a little acidic, no significant sweetness. A special marque that divides tastes. Not my favorite Mount Gay, but a solid rum. Price: 95 euros per 0.5 liters."

"Delicious Mount Gay with plenty of power from the barrel. Still clearly fruity on the nose. Nice smokiness in the taste and finish with a little honey and herbs as well as tobacco. All in all, a nice rum with a bit of variety."
