Danke an Pedro Ferreira, der meinen Schwiegereltern einige Rumproben mitgab :-) Die Nase ist extrem ungewöhnlich, schwer zu beschreiben. Wein, butterig, röstig, vergorene Früchte (Trauben) und Artischocke?!? Komplex! Im Mund sehr ungewöhnlich für einen Agricole, überhaupt nicht würzig, sondern süß und weinlastig, was durch das Madeirafass kommt. Etwas besonderes, ja ein außergewöhlicher Rum!
Hätte diesen Rum echt schlechter erwartet, aber er ist echt ok, und mal was neues. Nase besteht ehrlich überwiegend aus Popcorn und gerösteten Nüssen, aber lecker. Am Gaumen dann dasselbe, aber echt nicht übertrieben und gut genießbar, Alkohol echt gut eingebunden.
Sehr lecker, rund und mild! Schöne note nach Sultaninen, getrockneten Feigen & Bratapfel mit Butterkeksen und gerösteten Kastanien, sowie Buttriges Popcorn und Schwefel. Der Madeira Wein Einfluss ist sehr gut eingearbeitet und ist sehr Süffig! Alkoholgehalt ist perfekt gewählt nicht zu dünn, nicht zu kräftig. Find ich richtig lecker.
Überrascht positiv mit einem sehr einzigartigen Profil, das in der Nase mit einer prägnanten Mischung aus Popcorn und Artischocke beginnt, am Gaumen etwas Holz und ölige, aber dennoch elegante Süssweinnoten ergänzt, bevor im Abgang dann ein wenig die Kraft nachlässt. Schmeckt deutlich reifer als „nur“3 Jahre und macht Lust auf mehr aus Madeira.
