On sent au nez comme un parfum d’alcool de fruits, mais aussi des notes agricoles et un côté sombre. Des fruits jaunes. Une belle entrée de bouche où on retrouve les flaveurs du nez. Épices avec du poivre, du clou de girofle, fruits jaunes et belle acidité. La finale est longue, équilibrée et la plupart des arômes restent jusqu’à la fin. Le plus beau des rhums martiniquais des années 70 de cette dégustation.
I find this Martinique Pur from 1970 somewhat better than the previous one. The nose here is predominantly woody, but also quite spicy. On the palate, the wood dominates again, but there is also a pleasant sweetness in the form of caramel and vanilla in addition to the spiciness.
