The Elliott Erwitt (Magnum) HLCF, a limited-edition rum crafted by the Hampden Distillery in Jamaica and bottled by Velier, offers a robust tasting journey, showcasing its 60% ABV potency. Distilled in 2016 from molasses using a traditional pot still, this rum boasts an intense ester profile with prominent pineapple, banana, and olive notes, reflecting its Jamaican origins. Aged for five years, it is praised for its fruity complexity and balance, despite its high alcoholic content. While appreciated for its authentic Hampden character, some find its finish overwhelming due to the alcohol influence. With only 600 bottles available, this release is a collector's delight.

This is so far for me the best Hampden with the Mark HLCF!He comes round, complex and absolutely coherent therefore! The fruit, spice and wood are perfectly balanced, nothing dominates, but alternates harmoniously!Top!

Dieser Hampden erinnert mich schon viel mehr an einen Hampden, wie die Dinger aus der 8 Marks Collection. In der Nase halt überwiegend Ester am Gaumen kommt dann noch eine gewisse Fruchtigkeit bestehen aus Ananas und Banane hinzu. Echt lecker.
So much alcohol in the finish. Taste as very cheap. Like Younger.
