The "970 Single Cask Edition" was produced in Madeira at the Engenhos do Norte distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler J. Faria & Filhos. It was distilled in 2006 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 52%. This is a limited release and there are only 225 bottles. 5 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.5/10. The rum smells like Woody, Pastries and Berries, and on the palate there is Cinnamon, Woody and Spicy.

"This bottle is straight from the source. Nice to have friends travelling to Madeira and bringing home gifts ☺️ A dry and warm/spicy rum with fruits and wood. It has a nice and oily palate with nice curtains. Leave the empty glass because the flavours keep evolving in the glass."
