The "970 Single Cask Edition" was produced in Madeira at the Engenhos do Norte distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler J. Faria & Filhos. It was distilled in 2006 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 52%. "This bottle is straight from the source. Nice to have friends travelling to Madeira and bringing home gifts ☺️ A dry and warm/spicy rum with fruits and wood. It has a nice and oily palate with nice curtains. Leave the empty glass because the flavours keep evolving in the glass."
