Much rounder on the nose versus the both Cadenhead‘s. Less harshness and umami notes with rounded edges. Vanilla is more accentuated in this one with a vanilla creme vibe to it. Also very well balanced on the palate with fruits, crème brûlée and woodiness. All working very well together.
Very nice profile. Like a light Caroni with notes of mint.
Quite tasty but not outstanding and unspectacular. Nice nose, pleasing and sweet on the palate. Alcohol stings a little. Addendum: After a longer time in the glass, it becomes more interesting. A few notes reminiscent of a light Caroni appear on the nose, but the sweet notes tend to recede into the background.
worlds better than the 91 / 26yr SBS TDL.
