“A retasting dropped som points. ----( We had a private tasting with a Malecon representative yesterday and had a great evening. This is a lovely rum and the finish is lightly dry and bitter in a good way so I think this one could be a hit with whisky lovers.”

“Color: golden brown Smell: Sweet and faint of cotton candy, roasted almonds and Pineapple Upside Down cake. Taste: Sweet in the mouth, then becomes spicy. On the swallow sweet, candied with vanilla and caramel and some pepper. Finish: Short with caramel flavors. 68 points”
