HSE Château Marquis de Terme Finish rum is a limited edition from Distillerie du Simon in Martinique. Distilled in 2013, using sugar cane juice and a Creole Column, it's aged between 1 to 6 years and boasts a 48% ABV. Noted for its complex woody and fruity aroma, it includes layers of vanilla, cocoa, and spice. The flavor profile echoes with a rich woody and red fruit balance, enhanced by vanilla, cocoa, and grape undertones. With a finish in wine casks, it offers an expressive, rounded tasting experience. Très bon HSE qui du nez à la finale est porté sur le boisé,cacao les fruits rouges et fruits secs.
A slightly more balanced rum compared to the Sauternes finish. The nose seems more closed at first, but the palate is more expressive. Red fruits and dried fruits join wood and spices to form a smooth rum on the palate, lifted by the notes of the finishing wine. The finish is long and delicate. A fine HSE finish.
