"On the nose I found him still quite versatile in terms of fruit, smoke, roasted aromas and something artificially sweet! On the palate he then loses noticeably. Too one-dimensional it tastes predominantly of smoke, burnt espresso and slightly bitter roasted flavors! Everything else falls more or less by the wayside! Too bad!In the finish, these flavors continue!"

"Ein junger Fiji mit adstringierendem, hohem Ester-Anteil."

"in a blind tasting, I would have guessed a high ester HD. Fermented fruit, milk cream and toasty notes dominate the nose. On the palate quite violently burned out barrel, for me almost a bit too much of a good thing. There is little room for anything else even in the finish."

"Yeah... Disappointment for me on this one. The alcohol is not super integrated and as if that wasn't enough, a kind of burnt rubber and smoke completely overwhelms the rum. There is some fruit behind it and a slight pastry undertone that tries to break through but fails to do so, even with time. Basically, it will please the smoked products lovers, me it is absolutely not my case."
