How does this rum taste?
- Balanced flavors
- Smooth finish
- Complex for its age
Produced in Martinique at the Rhum J.M distillery, "Single Barrel by Kirsch Import" is a cask-strength rum with 55.1% ABV, distilled in 2015 and aged for over 5 years. It presents a harmonious blend of vanilla, floral, and roasted notes, accompanied by subtle oak and vegetal flavors. Users praise its well-balanced profile and surprising complexity for its age. To Rhum J.M
"Second tasting: a slight resin note on the nose. Rating unchanged. A very good Agricole! Incredibly mild and round on the nose. Reminds me immediately of Foursquare. When I smell deeper into the glass, floral notes are added. Again round and mild on the palate, but here much more floral and barrel-heavy. There is practically no intrusive alcoholic spiciness. The aromas can all be found in the medium-long finish. I also find a hint of bourbon."
"Absoluter Ausnahme Agricole! Genug Power, extrem süffig, Komplex nach Grapefruit Konfitüre, Minze, Datteln, Nougat & viel Würze und nicht zu viel Holz. Extrem lecker!
"Amazingly good JM! Good blend of wood, cherry and leather. Nice young rum with a good PLV."
