By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 46,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
Heavenly nose! Then on the palate, the very high expectations can not quite be met. A bit too bitter and thin. A few percent more would have stood him well. Overall, a very good Agricole!
I know that most J.M rums are watered down, but sometimes you just want a bit more on the ABV. This one is no exception. It does have a lot of flavours but they're kind of watered almost to death. Still an OK and fresh Agricole with nice floral notes. Price to quality is not super good in my mind.
Nase: tolle tropische gelbe Früchte und Ester. Erinnert mich fest an den97er uitvlugt. Gaumen: kann leider nicht ganz mit der hervorragenden Nase mithalten. Etwas bitter, holzig, weniger Früchte.
What a delicious balanced and complex rum... unfortunately, however, again much too reduced! I suspect times that he could have been from 50% or more, absolute top class
