“Un Savanna Grand Arôme particulièrement expressif et savoureux. Le nez offre de belles fragrances fruitées allant des fruits exotiques aux fruits rouges, en passant par les fruits jaunes et les fruits secs. Les notes du fût sont légèrement perceptibles avec une touche de gourmandise bienvenue au profil qui se veut intense et assez concentré en arômes. Les notes épicées et médicinales (esters, olive) se bataillent la seconde place dans le verre. Un profil parmi les plus intenses chez Savanna. L’attaque est d’une grande rondeur avec une belle amplitude aromatique. Les saveurs de fruits tropicaux et de fruits rouges sont marquées, très intenses et gourmandes. Les épices sont particulièrement développées (poivre, piment, gingembre, sel) et s’associent avec les esters, l’olive, le cognac, l’armagnac et une légère sucrosité sur le caramel pour donner un ensemble très harmonieux, l’alcool est superbement bien intégré. La finale est longue, toujours aussi fruitée avec ces notes médicinales autour, mais légèrement plus sec, tannique et amer, avec des notes plus herbacées, du thé et du cuir. On a également une touche plus caféinée et rôtie. Un superbe rhum qui maîtrise son sujet, aussi savoureux que délicat avec une palette aromatique impressionnante.”
