How does this rum taste?
Blue Mauritius Gold stands out for its sweet, dessert-like character, with most reviewers loving the intense vanilla, caramel, and chocolate flavors. Notes of banana and hazelnut add a unique twist, making this a rum that's often enjoyed neat as an after-dinner sipper or dessert pairing. While some find it on the sweeter side, it's a go-to for those craving a rich, nutty treat and appeals even to non-rum drinkers. Worth considering if you enjoy liqueur-like, approachable profiles.

Oh well, what can I say. After all the Schollenbergers, this rum is a real treat. I'm sure that's why I rated it too highly, but it's no use. Perhaps a little better than an average rum.
The nose seriously smells like cheap vanillin in a instant pudding packet. Besides that the sweetness comes with a little alcohol, the palate only gets a little spices besides. This is as terrible as it gets for this products trying to say that they're rum
