“Beautiful 1998 with a typical vintage profile, aromatically diverse. In addition to the intense barrel, spice and HTR notes, this release also has a pleasant sweetness. The rum's only fault is the somewhat pungent note on the palate, which points to less than perfect alcohol integration. Overall, however, on a high level and a really good 1998 Caroni.”
