"This is a very atypical but delicious Rum from Mount Gay🤤Blind you’ll never say this is a MG 😅 The alcohol is integrated well. Some atypical tastes in mouth and finish with some notes of licorice, tobacco and a nice taste of the oak barrel. It‘s an awesome everyday rum with a good price per value ratio. I see this one slightly behind the 2000 MG from S.B.S Update: Found some nice licorice and rubber notes 😜 The second sip was a lot better, more impressive. By far the best from mount gay🤤🤤 enjoyed it a lot"
"A strong smokiness that fades with time and gives way to pineapple and lychee, which can also be found in the taste together with some chocolate. The whole thing is not Hampden Funky, but it is still exceptional in its own way. The finish is again completely different, leathery and nutty with some tobacco. Dry leather remains on the palate for a long time."
"I blindly guessed it to be Clarendon. It has a lot of bitter almond and marzipan in the taste. But if you know it, it is of course a typical Mount Gay. PLV very good!"
"Usually I find Mount Gay quite dry and spicy, but this is quite enjoyable. I had this as a comparison of different bottlings of this Marque, and found this to be the best variant, albeit by a small margin only."
