Overall a very elegant and round Agricole Blanc. I was offered a glass of this Longueteau rum from the Espérance distillery in Guadeloupe from my son. The distillery, one of the oldest distilleries on the island, is located at the foot of the Soufrière volcano. The sugar cane used in this rum is red cane from the smallest plot, Parcellaire no 11. The cane juice is distilled in their Savalle column in June 2020 and is bottled in 3000 bottles in November 2021 at 55% after 12 months of rest and slow reduction in stainless steel vats.
