How does this rum taste?
The "Intense Port Finish" Rum from Savanna Distillery in Reunion offers a unique profile crafted from molasses, distilled via column still, and matured for 15 years. With an ABV of 46%, it melds fruity, vegetal, earthy, and woody aromas. Tasting notes reveal layers of sweetness, barrel influence, roasted caramel, and vegetal undertones, with a subtle port influence. This limited release, consisting of only 1,190 bottles, is often described as an easy sipper, though some feel it could benefit from a higher proof. 18.01.2020 A nice little summer house meet up in ght cold part of the year. Good we had rums to keep us warm. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, ester, light wood, faint smoke, cherry, light floral, faint chocolate. Palate Intense, warm, light wood, spice, cherry, berries, ester, light vegetal, faint leather. Finish Medium long and warm, light wood, light roasted, vegetal, cherry, faint caramel.
Rumy z destilerie Savanna jsou jedny z mych nejoblibenejsich. Doporucuji kazdemu vyzkouset zejmena vuce esterove kousky jako je Grand arome nebo HERR. Tolik ovoce v nekolika malo kapkach tekutiny jste dlouho necitili.
Port Cask hat seine süßen Spuren hinterlassen. Rote Früchte, Rosinen, das Ganze harmoniert mal mehr, mal weniger mit dem Grande Aroma Profil. Ein paar Prozente hätten dem Rum gut getan. Unter dem Strich ein easy Sipper für diejenigen, die auf eher süßere - ungezuckerte - Rums stehen.
