“I’m not so familiar with rums from St. Lucia, but this one was really impressive, delicious. Best of the night in warsaw. Very welcoming in the nose with various fruits, glue, cognac and leather for sure the impact of the port wine barrel. In mouth it’s very intense and need some time to fully open and show up various notes. The alcohol is integrated well. The finish is delicious, various fruits, barrel, tannins, polish paired with a bit of anise. Love it”

“The nose welcomes you with juicy fruit bread full of dried fig and tropical fruit previously soaked in red wine. In the mouth, the fruit bread turns into palatable mulled wine - the spices remain, the fruit becomes more acidic and fresh. The finish remains vinous, tannic, astringent, cooked red fruit (sour cherry).A quaffable, round Chairman's. The port gives sweetness and takes complexity without making the distillate unrecognizable. For relaxed drinking on the side, I liked the rum much better than in the concentrated tasting - good that I got a 10 cl sample. 🤤”
