It was distilled in 2001 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 20 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 54,8% and the mark is BMMG. Almost reminiscent of a Worthy Park due to the banana. A bit edgy on the palate and quite short finish. Nevertheless, a good Mount Gay.
Good Mount Gay, but overall a bit less compelling than the series' sister release.
This is a nice mount gay. The marzipan of the nose translates nicely to a banana with some wood bitters and tannines on the palate. The tannines are not unpleasant and it is a fun drink. I would want this with better availability and price...
